I don't want to watch that whole thing now, I'm just going to pause it and I'll close that panel.
It opens up this panel and it will play that video. Now you or anybody who is invited to this meeting can watch that right here. Usually when you have a longer meeting, it might take an hour or two before that recording is available. Now, this recording is very short, so it's already available. And if you had sent text based chats during that meeting, those would be here as well, but I can also see my recording. It shows up as if it were a chat conversation. So if I go over to chat, I can see there is a summary of that meeting. But if the meeting was not linked to a Team or a channel, then you'll see that same information in the chat section. If the meeting was linked to a channel, you can go to the Teams section, navigate to the channel that was linked to that meeting, and you'll see a summary of that meeting and the recording right here in the normal conversation. And that depends on whether the meeting was tied to a Team channel or not. Now it does take a little time before that recording will be available, but we can see where that recording will be when it's ready.
I got a few more things to look at, but I'll see you later. Okay, so Garrick, I think we're all set with this meeting. Naturally, you're going to have your meeting and when you're finished, you'll go to this menu and you'll choose stop recording and confirm that you want to stop. So that's going to alert everybody to the fact that they are being recorded. Garrick, you see something on your screen as well, right? - Yeah, I think I see the same message saying that recording has started. I want to wait a moment until that turns red and now I know it's recording, and now I get this message at the top of the screen letting me know that it's recording. And in a moment, we'll see a few things on the screen. I do think it's a good idea to let everybody in the meeting know that you're about to start recording, but when you're ready, you can click on that. To do that, we're going to go to this button with three dots up at the top, which opens up this menu, and there's an option here to start recording. So basically we want to see how to record a meeting. And I believe one of my coworkers is already here in this meeting. Check my audio and video settings, and then click join now. So I have a meeting here on my schedule already in progress. You are only able to record the meeting in the full version of Teams with a Microsoft 365 account, recording is not available in the free version of Teams. If you want to make sure that people who miss the meeting are in the loop, you might want to record that meeting and then share the recording later. It's pretty normal for you to invite some people to a meeting who are not able to make it.
